What Causes Panic Attacks?

One of the main symptoms of Panic attacks is a sudden shortness of breath, you may experience in your heart area as well. This will also lead to an extreme feeling of fear and anxiety. These symptoms can be traumatic and very stressful for the individual. The first panic attack experience is usually the worst can have a long lasting psychlogical impact on the individual. The actual symptoms of a panic attack will vary depending on the individual.

I believe this is hard wired into our personalities from both developmental stages of our lives as well as life experiences.Then their are people who often overreact or become extremely fearful or stressed out over the same experiences as the person who had more of a carefree personality.Again looking back and comparing the two peoples lives you will probably find some astonishing differences.The carefree person more than likely had a stable household with affectionate and loving parents and never really experienced anything terrifying in their lives.

A child feigns sickness and looks for every excuse for not going to school. There is a definite co-relation between school phobia and separation anxiety. This is because children are hit with the insecurity of leaving the secure environment of their home.Stress-related anxiety.One of the most common causes of panic attacks in children is stress. Stress is linked to anxiety attacks and may be because of heavy responsibilities at home and in school. This also includes unfinished tasks, physical and psychological abuse, a school bully, environment that is unfit for the child's age, violence, etc.

The second cause of anxiety and panic attacks is the immediate perception accompanied by physical symptoms triggered by years of ongoing thoughts to actually cause a panic or anxiety attack.Once you have your first panic attack its much easier to keep having them since you become fearful of the panic attack and its symptoms itself. In laymen terms you start to fear, fear itself, causing the mental triggers that can escalate your feelings and thought processes.

People often ask themselves, "What causes panic attacks?" They typically blame situations that they are in or other forces which are out of their control. What they do not realize is that panic disorders are often caused by exhaustion either physical, emotional or mental.

More often than not, we do not know what causes panic attacks. Even after we boggle our heads to come up with an answer, it is still difficult to tell what could be causing this highly irritating and inconvenient disorder. I can help you lessen the burden, but I believe we should begin with giving answers to the question - what is a panic attack?

Panic attacks are the natural reaction of people when they are faced with a perceived harm or danger. Thousands of years ago, these panic attacks were the early warning device of aborigines who hunted for food in the forest. In the same manner your panic attacks are your early warning device of an impending danger. Here are some panic attacks causes that can trigger your anxiety:

The disorder is not really life threatening if you look at it from the medical perspective, but it could definitely ruin how you live your life in general. This is probably because the attacks are sudden and most often unexpected; one minute you are having coffee with some friends and on the next you are hyperventilating. Furthermore, the symptoms are very uncomfortable that every attack seems to be a traumatizing experience.

When your body reaches a breaking point. it causes you to have a panic attack to stop the cycle of anxiety. Your exhaustion is what causes panic attacks.and your body does all it can do to stop the feelings of anxiety and fear.

This cycle keeps repeating itself until you do something to stop it... it will not go away on its own. Many people suffer from anxiety and panic attacks for years before they seek out help. This causes the person years and years of pain an unneeded anxiety. The feelings of dread and anxiety make life almost unbearable.If you can work on you exhaustion, which is what causes panic attacks, you can stop your disorder before it gets out of control. If you are physically drained set aside enough time for you to sleep at night. If you feel mentally drained. try meditation, yoga, working on a hobby, or exercise. If you are emotionally drained. you can work on it through therapy or talking.I used to struggle with anxious thoughts and panic attacks.all the time.
