How 24 Day Challenge Changed My Mind and Health

By Gregory Sloan

I have never been a big supporter of multilevel marketing companies. I tend not to want my friends and colleagues making an effort to enroll me to market things because I am certainly the most horrible salesperson in the world. Besides, I can hardly find a person to allow me to present them an item for free. Uh huh, I'm that bad. I remember the years when I was a young person having to distribute merchandise for school and church to raise enough funds for camps, etc. I usually trusted my mom and dad would take up the slack considering that I would have numerous sales products unsold. I was way too shy to go door to door and trouble anyone by asking them to buy products from me. But, a MLM product did eventually come my way because my son got me into a weight loss program called the Advocare 24 day Challenge. But a bit more about that topic in a minute.

What makes a person to be a good belly to belly seller? I've seen them. I suspect it's men and women with super dispositions, the skill to verbally communicate well, and aren't worried about rejection. Well, that's a trio of strikes against me. Although I have done quite a bit of blogging on the internet, my articulation proficiencies appear to be more effective when I'm typing than those times my mouth is moving and sentences are flowing. (And you are reading through this and saying - "you ain't doing really well with the words on the page either, dude)."

And what's a lot worse, I am a member of the clergy. And, as you probably know, if you're a minister, you absolutely need to believe that you have the most wonderful information on the planet that all people should hear. And I am able to put myself before of hundreds of people in the church and sing or present a sermon and not be very shy at all. However, when I am making an one on one visit with someone that I do not know well, I am still like a shy little child. What's the deal with that? But this has consistently been a part of my personality.

Well now, let me go back to the Advocare topic. Although it is certainly secondary to my church responsibilities, I do participate as an Advocare affiliate. My son had marketed Advocare's health and fitness products for several years (which certainly helped him make extra funds while at the university), but all my wife and I did with the products was use them. Of course, I was really skeptical initially, until we tried the Advocare 24 Day Challenge. It made such a difference in our general fitness, energy, and we definitely lost a bunch of pounds in the short period of 24 days. So, we were sold on those products.

So, this past year we finally decided that since we were planning to continue using it, then we weren't only going to receive the health advantages of those products, but in addition to that, make some profits. So that was a good decision. With Advocare a person generate income by selling and recruiting others. Does Annette do better than the shy guy here? Yes, actually. But that is quite alright. I think that the merits of these health and wellness products are so remarkably good, even someone like me can successfully sell!

So, if you are a shy salesperson, simply make really sure that your product is really strong and works well. I'm glad ours does.

Let's help people AND make some cash!
